Get to know your brand manager, Andrew!
What is your favorite brand and why?
The first brands I noticed in life were cars; memorizing every brand name and reciting them from my car seat view was a favorite pastime. I’ve always been drawn to the mystique of the ultimate driving machine, its German-ness and defining design aesthetic. I feel like BMW always delivers on the promises of their brand.
Word on the street is that you have a lot of stamps on your passport. What is your favorite place you have been to?
This is never an easy answer…but I’ll go with Iceland where my wife and I honeymooned. We went before the tourist boom (because we’re cool, duh) and experienced some much needed R&R in the expansive landscape and quiet of the country and a lot of fun in the capital, Reykjavik.
What is the greatest album ever made?
I don’t have the credentials to judge this in terms of the most defining album of human history, but I will share my personal pick in terms of an album that left the greatest impact on my life – ( ) by Sigur Ros.
If you could have lunch with someone, living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would have lunch with my grandmother because I miss her dearly and she would make her homemade tortillas, my favorite chile rellenos and everything else her hands made with love.
Who is your hero?
My resilient neighbors and friends in Linda Vista, San Diego who, in spite of threats and suspicion towards immigrants, create a community full of life, generosity and support.
