What’s your favorite brand and why?
Nike – They’ve been the coolest brand my whole life. Thriving in multiple cultures & industries, they’re common denominator is cool.
What is one piece of advice you would give your younger self?
I have three!
- When you’re starting out, you’re at the bottom, it’s incredibly hard to shift that perception of yourself – In order to do that and start moving up the ranks, look for voids in the company you’re working at. Where & what are they outsourcing and can you do it more efficiently? Doing this will display you’re cognizant of the company’s pain points and a hungry employee who’s looking to grow.
- Pursue every opportunity, pay no attention to others expectations of you & experience all you can – through experience you’re able to see what’s possible.
- Think BIG!
If you had your own podcast, who would your ideal first three guests be?
Ooooo there’s so many people that interest me. I’d probably say – Kanye West, Elon Musk, and Graham Hancock.
We know you spent a few years working in the entertainment industry – who was the most inspirational person you met along the way, and why?
There are so many, but the first person that comes to mind was an old intern I had, Aaron Jennings. Aaron never accepted his “position”. He had big ideas and lofty goals, infectious personality. The owner of the company we worked for achieved his success managing writers & producers and Aaron started schooling himself in the space. He’s now got multiple writing and artistry plaques, millions of streams and living his dream. He’s a real example of creating your own universe.
What are your top three most recent Spotify searches?
- K. Camp – Lottery
- Nipsey Hussle – Hussle & Motivate
- Ky-Mani Marley – All The Way
What is the most embarrassing fashion trend you participated in? What is one you wish you could bring back?
LOL – Has to be tall tees with the sticker left on. We used to wear XXL’s and have our shirts hanging to our shins, so stupid.
Retro Jerseys – I would love for those to make a comeback.
