Del Mar Summer 2019 PR Executive Summary

Raindrop’s PR efforts supported the primary PR objective of positioning Del Mar as a must-see Southern Californian entertainment and sporting destination, ultimately driving on-track attendance.

Raindrop targeted local and top-tier regional and national media outlets throughout the year with the goal of mass coverage of all things Del Mar during the summer months. The PR focus shifted significantly in 2019 from being primarily lifestyle focused, to being a strategic crisis and issues management partner to Del Mar.
